During the summer of 2024, Broadway Academy hosted an intriguing 9th grade summer camp program combining literacy, technology, and navigational skills to engage students in the fun and interactive world of letterboxing. Throughout the camp, students embarked on a series of clue-based treasure hunts, honing their skills in reading, problem-solving, and technology use while gaining a hands-on understanding of navigation and geocaching. Students used digital tools to document their discoveries, create their own letterbox clues, and created rubber stamps and log books. By the end of the camp, students will have developed a deeper appreciation for storytelling, navigation, and the ways in which technology can enhance learning and adventure.
