SouthernTier ConnectEd Conference 2025

Kyle Verspoor is an Instructional Support Specialist focusing on Educational Technology in the PLIC at BT BOCES.  Kyle started working at the PLIC in July 2021 after teaching physics and other high school science courses the previous eight school years at Windsor Central School District and Farmingdale Union Free School District.  As a teacher Kyle also worked as the high school science team leader, advised clubs, and coached soccer and lacrosse.  Kyle earned both his bachelor’s degree in Physics (‘12), and his master’s degree in Secondary Adolescence Education with a focus in Physics (‘13) from Binghamton University.  He currently holds his NYS professional certification in Physics 7-12 and is a Level 1 Certified Google Educator.  Kyle’s focus is on helping teachers integrate technology into their classrooms to further their students’ learning, engagement, and digital citizenship.  He believes that effective technology integration is crucial to each student’s life after high school and will help them succeed wherever they go.
