I am currently STEAM Professional Development Specialist in one of the largest school districts in Dutchess County, NY. I have experience in using Backwards by Design to write curriculum in my district. Most recently, I worked on creating STEAM units, aligned to NGSS with PBL experiences embedded into the units for remote and hybrid learning. Additionally, I have collaborated with teachers in building learning experiences using Design Thinking, Genius Hour, Flexible Seating, Classroom Makerspace, and Inquiry Based Learning in my district. I also formally presented at ISTE Creative Constructor Lab (virtual) 2020 and NYSCATE Annual Conference (virtual) 2020.
